In this week’s video blog our expert guide, Nick Gonzales, discusses working through change.  There are several types of change as well as reactions to those changes.

Crisis and change have always been inevitable for leaders to face.  There was a time when organizations could face changes and challenges with a reasonable amount of predictability and make plans ahead of time.  Tried and true “best practices” could be called upon and integrated to cope with the changes.

Change Process

Nick reminds us that there are several things to keep in mind and questions to ask ourselves when we are faced with changes – which is inevitable throughout our lives.

  • Do you fight change when you are facing it?
  • When change occurs, do you adapt, complain, argue, or realize the bright spots of the change?
  • Do you work through the change so that you can improve your results? If so, how?

Changes - Life
