In this week’s video blog our expert guide, Don Hadley, speaks about our monthly Leadership Forum along with March’s topic of Leading by Example.  When we think about and take a look at great leaders, what they do seems almost instinctive.  However, if we take a closer look under the surface, there are many things that are occurring at the same time that leaders must deal with.

In order to lead effectively, followers need to see leaders actually living the life of a leader with their behavior.  At the same time, if we use Leading by Example as our primary technique, we will fail our followers.  Leaders must take time to teach not only the skills of leadership but also the heart and the why of what they are doing.
