So many times in business we work hard to learn skills, to absorb information, to reorganize and make efficient all of our systems. Yet it seems so many of us and those around us do not feel complete, fully engaged with the world, and living a great life!

Family

I am persuaded that one of the biggest reasons this is true is that we all have plans to train ourselves and others around us intellectually, yet we do not intentionally develop the attitudes and values of those around us. We end up with attitudes and values around us by accident instead of by design.

Could you imagine manufacturing a product or delivering a service without a well thought process of first designing it, and thinking through what is needed, then having a tool to realign as it gets off track throughout the process (which it inevitably does)?

I have never analyzed it, but I suspect our clients that focus on balance between Human/Spiritual capital – the “soft”, and the Intellectual/Financial capital – the “hard”, through intentionally training and coaching do much better.  This is also true in families as well as in business.
