We find that the essence of leadership is to create the feeling with everyone in the organization that you have their back and their best interest at heart. No matter what level the employee or what level the leader, all employees should feel that their leaders are looking out for them. All leaders owe it to their employees to communicate the organization’s destination, progress, and what they believe. It doesn’t have to be pretty or in a beautiful presentation. It does need to be honest, authentic and real.
