A much better question would be: “Is this team member really feeling like all that’s inside them is being expressed here?” In other words, are they getting an opportunity to use their potential skills in a way that expresses their internal motivations, their hopes and their dreams?

Creating a team and learning to operate as part of a team is very different from being a highly effective individual performer. Skill sets that create and improve teams are needed to achieve at the highest levels.
