7 Signs Your Team May Be Falling Apart
Teams – From a Different Perspective
![]()
In this week’s video blog our expert guide, Don Hadley, discusses teams.
Many times organizations and business owners have great individuals and functional leadership within departments, but there is no “team-ness” occurring throughout the organization.
One essential ingredient to having a strong team is conflict – both good and bad conflict. One type of good conflict is when an individual has an issue with another person or process and it is worked through in a positive way. Another example of good conflict is debate. Debate within meetings or about processes can help create better ideas, get buy-in from others, and work towards the greater success and improvement of the department and organization.
We encourage you to ask yourself the following questions:
-
Have you taught your leaders and teams how to have good conflict?
-
What systems and processes does your organization have in place to develop and enhance its “team-ness”?
-
Are your leaders great team players or just great individuals working side-by-side?
